Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Expense Tracker application. By using our application, you accept these terms in full.

Use of the Application

You must use this application at your own risk. We provide this application on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The application will meet your specific requirements
  • The application will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the application will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the application will be corrected
  • Currency conversion rates will always be current or accurate
  • All languages and translations will be completely accurate

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the application
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the application
  • Any content obtained from the application
  • Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password
  • Restricting access to your computer or device
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date

Mobile Application Terms

By using our mobile applications, you agree to the following additional terms:

  • You are responsible for any mobile charges that may apply to using our app, including data charges and SMS messaging
  • If you use the app on an iOS device, you accept that these terms are an agreement between you and us, not with Apple, Inc.
  • Your use of the mobile application must comply with the current App Store Terms of Service and Google Play Terms of Service
  • You agree that we or the app stores may collect and use technical data and related information to facilitate product support and software updates
  • You acknowledge that offline expenses created while using the app will be synchronized to our servers when your device regains internet connectivity

Subscription Terms

Our application offers subscription services with the following terms:

  • We offer two subscription levels through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store:
    • Monthly subscription: $9.99 per month
    • Annual subscription: $99.99 per year
  • All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the applicable subscription period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Subscription cancellations must be managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings
  • No free trial period is offered for subscriptions
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account at confirmation of purchase
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period
  • Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase
  • No refund will be provided for the unused portion of any subscription period
  • Subscription prices are subject to change upon notice. Any price changes will apply to the next subscription period

Currency Conversion and International Use

Our multi-currency features are provided for convenience, with the following conditions:

  • Currency exchange rates are obtained from third-party sources and may not be real-time or completely accurate
  • We are not responsible for any discrepancies resulting from currency conversion calculations
  • You should verify important currency conversions independently for official financial or tax reporting purposes
  • Using our application in different countries is subject to local laws and regulations

Customization and Preferences

Regarding customization options and preferences:

  • We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove languages, themes, or customization options at any time
  • We do not guarantee that all features will be available in all languages
  • Your theme and customization preferences are stored as part of your account data

Data Accuracy

While we strive to ensure the accuracy of calculations and data processing within our application, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy. You should verify important financial information independently.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the application immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, your right to use the application will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the application or delete your account through the application settings.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising out of or related to the use of our application shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding between you and us shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Alberta, Canada, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes.

Third-Party Services

Our application may integrate with or use third-party services, including but not limited to:

  • Apple App Store and Google Play services for mobile app distribution
  • Currency conversion services
  • Translation services

We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services may be subject to additional terms and conditions provided by the third party.
